We believe in the circle of life and that we are all one and if we are all one, we support each other as one.

When you come together with others in a circle, you are united.

We play around with the concept of receiving and giving at the same time, of caring for others whilst being cared for by others.

In one of the very first scenes of the 1994 Disney classic The Lion King, we see King Mufasa talking to his son, Simba.

“Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance,” he says. “As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.”

“But, dad, don’t we eat the antelope?” Simba asks in confusion.

“Yes, Simba, but let me explain,” Mufasa begins. “When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass. And so we are all connected in the great Circle of Life.”

The Circle of Life, as a philosophical concept, means that we start at the end and end in the beginning.

Our lives, from beginning to end resemble a complete full circle.
No matter how big or small the circle is, it ends in the exact same way for everyone

Our Circle of Giving & Receiving

At Easy Living Vacations, we believe that giving is part of being in this circle of life and that our business would not exist without receiving and we complete this circle by giving back.  We donate 10% of our net income to Charities that are close to our hearts.  Every one of our team members has the option to choose their own charity, a charity that will give them meaning.

Easy Living Vacations have chosen IRSA (Islamic Relief South Africa), "Helping at Home: South Africa".  The socioeconomic issues in South Africa, such as unemployment, crime, corruption, and poverty are steadily rising. IRSA (Islamic Relief South Africa) has highlighted these concerns and is working towards educating, informing, and empowering the local communities to be better prepared in the face of contemporary challenges.

Islamic Relief is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in the UK in 1984. Islamic Relief South Africa was registered as a Section 21 for a non-profit company in 2004.

Islamic Relief works with communities to strengthen their resilience to calamities, and we provide vital emergency aid when disasters occur.

We help the impoverished access basic services, including education, water, and sanitation, as well as healthcare.

We provide lasting routes out of poverty through our sustainable development schemes. Our integrated approach to progress is transforming communities worldwide.

We tackle the root causes of poverty and make sure that the world’s most vulnerable people have real influence in both our programs and advocacy.

About Pack for a Purpose

Our Mission Our mission is to positively impact communities around the world by assisting travelers who want to take meaningful contributions to the destinations they visit.

Our Philosophy There is a need everywhere in the world; however, it is sometimes difficult to identify specific needs in places far from home. We believe many people fortunate enough to travel wish they could make meaningful contributions to help meet the needs of the places they visit. Such contributions are one way of expressing appreciation for the experiences and hospitality they enjoyed.

Our goal is to assist travelers who want to say thank you in this manner or who simply want to expand their generosity beyond their own communities.  The supply lists for destinations on our website are provided directly by the local community-based projects that receive and use the supplies, enabling travelers to make informed decisions and to take items that meet the needs of those who will be using them.
